I was a little surprised that there was no line at this darling red truck as the food was absolutely incredible. I arrived and promptly noticed 'SOLD OUT' on 2 of the 3 versions of meatballs. I was content with ordering the 'classic' as I had never been here before. For $10, I received 3 meatballs (I scored a bbq - slightly spicy + 2 classic - also had a smidge of a kick), some incredible salad with cut-up apples/goat cheese and an amazing drizzle - tasted like dessert & MAC N CHEESE!!! This is not your Costco mac n' cheese people, this had some incredible white (cheddar?) sauce and it was absolutely delish. Food was warm - score & actually had just enough flavor where my mouth said mmmmmmmm but not overload where my mouth said uuuuuugh. What more do I need to say? Service was great, food matched it. 🙂 And they take debit cards. Triple scores.

Overall very good. It is underrated among the DC food truck scene. All of the The balls are good, but the sides are excellent. Give it a try.

Delicious, no skimping on the food, very friendly staff. You can combine the meatball and go one of each which I would suggest for anyones first time.

I had the BBQ chicken meatballs with mascarpone polenta and goat cheese, dried fig, and field greens salad. Like others have said, the salad is very clean and refreshing. The polenta is creamy goodness. The BBQ chicken meatballs are a little spicy which I appreciated. I was concerned about the meatballs being boring or small but they were not. You get three big meatballs on top of the polenta with a tangy sauce that is a hybrid of BBQ sauce and gravy on top. The salad is on the other side of a divider which keeps the salad from mixing with the polenta and gravy. This is now one of my favorite trucks. You must come back to Capitol South!

My first time here and I will definitely be back. He patiently answered the questions I had about the sides (I was the only one there so I didn't hold others up). I can't wait to go back. He has stolen my meatball heart from my fave Italian Restaurant in Arlington. The polenta was smooth and creamy, the goat cheese salad was crunchy, tasty, and CLEAN. I can't stand slimy salad.

My first stop here. Very good!!! Wild boar with pesto was full of great flavor and the polenta with mascapone was wonderful. The other side, salad with figs, almonds, and feta was a nice and light addition. Very satisfying and filling. Great value.

First, I waited 20 minutes (This is a food truck, not a sit-down restaurant!) for three cold meatballs and some congealed macaroni. But if this is still your thing, just make sure you're near a bathroom when it all comes out again a couple of hours later. Not a pleasant experience.

Ball or Nothing serves meatballs, of course.  Menu items include veggie options and come in chicken and ghost chili varieties. They launched on April 17, 2012 in DC.
