Is This One Of Your Favorite Trucks?: YES! •
How Much Did It Cost?: $10

The meatballs are very good (also the veggie meatball) and the sides are amazing. They put extra attention to the look and taste of the food. My husband was still dreaming of his veggie balls and the amazing greens with dates, goat cheese, etc. Definitely worth the money, not a waste like other food trucks. One of my favorites now. My favorite side is the mascarpone polenta. So many to pick from, I vary the 2nd side but always pick the polenta.

What Did You Order?: Classic Meatball w/Mac and Cheese and Braised Chard/Kale

Wow. This was so so so good. Really good. The braised chard and kale had a nice spice to it as did the sauce on the meatballs. The meatballs were excellent and damn close to what my Zias and Nonna used to make. The pasta for the mac and cheese was nice and al dented and the cheese sauce was delicious. I really wanted to lick my container clean after finishing. I will definitely be coming back and its a great value for the price.

What Did You Order?: Classic Meatball with Mac and Cheese and Mascarpone

Even if the food was not great, this is still a good meal. The guys in this truck load down the food box. But food here is good, very good. The few times I have been to this truck it is a 10 block walk or so. The food is spicy enough to have a good flavor, but not spicy enough to burn your mouth. Which is perfect for lunch at work.

The Mac and cheese is not as good as what I get from home when my mom makes it, but it is head and shoulders above what you get at most restaurants. I ordered something called Mascarpone. I have never heard of it, and I still am not sure what it actually is, but I liked it. I will probably order it again next week.

It is a great truck.

Food was amazing! One of my favorite trucks, and I've only been lucky enough to have it once. We're waiting for you guys at L'Enfant!

What Did You Order?: Veggie Balls

Absolutely the best food truck out there. Its a favorite of myself and a few colleagues, no matter whether we get the veggie, meat, boar or anything else. The sides are divine, and the service is great. I'd eat here 3-4 times a week if I could.

This is my all-time favorite food truck. Not only is the food consistently fresh and delicious, the service is always remarkably cheerful and friendly. It is worth every penny - I would happily follow this truck to any location in DC were my lunch break not so short. One thousand stars!
