I don't usually post reviews but I have come to love the food trucks that frequent Metro Center and I think it's unfortunate this one is out there leaving folks who may not frequent the trucks with a bad taste in their mouth. I ordered the chicken salad listed for $8.99 but they charged me $10. I thought maybe they did it because I asked for no cheese but charging more for less seems silly. Anyway it was only a dollar so i let it slide and still tipped a dollar (because I generally appreciate the food trucks options). I got back to my office with the salad and it was just not good. The chicken had very little flavor and it was so dry it was uncomfortable to eat. The lettuce and tomato were not the freshest or the most ripe but that wouldn't have mattered if the chicken had been edible. The tahini sauce was also lacking in flavor and seemed watered down. All in all it was a total disappointment.

Then, it was awful. I've eaten from literally (and this is not an exaggeration or a misuse of the word literally) every kabob truck in DC. Every. One. And this meal put Bite2Go very near the bottom (even that shady spray-painted blue van that was around last summer was better). The lamb platter had a small portion of the lamb equivalent of Steak-ums on a bed of white rice served with a sauce that was vaguely yogurt based but wasn't tzatziki or Arab-style cucumber sauce. But it sure was thin and flavorless. Next to that was a "salad" that might have been at home on a tray in a hospital room. Avoid - there are so many other better options out there.

Should have read the reviews first! The falafel salad consisted of mediocre falafel, shredded iceberg lettuce, feta, and pickle slices. When I asked where the tomatoes and cucumbers were, he said they were out of tomatoes, and then pointed to the pickle slices and said "there are the cucumbers."

The Falafel salad was not worth the $8. The falafel was OK. The salad was shredded iceberg lettuce with a few crubles of feta cheese and tiny bits of tomato, green pepper, and onion. Came with extra tahini sauce that was so watered down it was unappetizing. I will not patronize this truck again. I was disappointed.

1st issue is the item cost 7.99 and I ordered a bottle of water. They charged me $11. When I complained he said DC tax. I said DC tax was 10%. Then he said that the little water was 2 dollars; I said ok forget the water. So he gives me 10 back on my 20 which still doesn't add up; so I stole the water when he wasn't looking.
Me and my co-worker ordered the same thing which was basically lettuce with 4 dinky "Bites" of chicken and wishbone italian dressing. We're still hungry; going to get a chili dog.
Yep- "Bite 2 go" Bites, won't go to that one anymore.

Literally the worst meal I've had from a food truck. There were fewer falafel than in the picture, no hummus or pita, barely any yogurt sauce that was poured on, and a "salad" consisting of some lettuce and bread and butter pickles.

My first complaint is the menu said $8.99 and he charged my card $10. I don't know if he thought that was tax (still too high), tax and a card fee, or all a card fee. Anyway, that didn't impress me. Next what I got looked very little like the photo. There wasn't much lamb for the price (compared to other trucks), the lamb was overcooked, the rice was moist, but its flavor wasn't great. The sauces were okay and I used both of them (one Italian style salad dressing, the other a yogurt kind of thing) to make the rice worth eating.

With all the kabob trucks available they need to step up their game or get off the playground. I do not recommend. It wasn't horrible so two stars.

My co-worker and I saw the truck (which was new to us) and decided to try it...Big mistake! He ordered the Lamb salad (which he said he was very disappointed with) and I ordered the chicken sandwich. Today I'll just talk about what I ordered. The picture of the chicken sandwich looked very appealing. Well what I received looked nothing like the picture...Instead of something resembling a Gyro style sandwich I got something closer to a mediterranean egg roll. It was very small and very dry. The dryness surprised me the most because I asked for extra sauce. I've had this or something similar from other food trucks and this was by far the worst. The service was almost as bad. Will not be a repeat customer.
