First time trying this truck- it was at union station- only one guy in there so possibly understaffed? Bread was soggy and not toasted enough, not enough kraut or sauce. Got about 5 chips. Not going back.

The food is delicious. Of course it is prepared ahead of time, Brown Bag is a catering company, and I have a friend who has them cater many of her events. From their truck I have had the Big Apple sandwich on wheat, the chicken and red pepper on rye, and their chicken noodle soup. All great choices! Even though my office is close to Whole Foods and Panera, I always choose Brown Bag it is here. Brown Bag’s chicken noodle soup is amazing and tastes like something you’d make at home from scratch. YUMM. Hot or cold, I am always ready for Brown Bag's chicken noodle soup!

So dry and flavorless. It wasn't disgusting but the only thing I could taste was slightly dry chicken. Where was the mayo? The goat cheese? I tasted none of it.

But here's the problem: apparently they premake the sandwiches (I saw the guy bring it out of a fridge), and they just dump the contents on the grill when you order it. They heat up the ingrediants and scrape it back up and put it on the bread. The sauce and cheese, because it's put on the pre-made sandwich, is lost once the sandwich is dismantled. I have no clue why they do it this way.

I asked to hold the red peppers (I'm allergic), but I thought that the goat cheese and pesto mayo would still bring some nice flavor to the sandwhich.

I asked to hold the red peppers (I'm allergic), but I thought that the goat cheese and pesto mayo would still bring some nice flavor to the sandwhich. I couldn't tell if there was ANY goat cheese or mayo on the sandwhich. I maybe say one tiny speck of goat cheese. All it was was heated up chicken (which was fine, just completely bland) on sourdough. Such a bland sandwich and a complete waste of money.
