What Did You Order?: Catfish and fries

I love Cajunators, however my last 2 catfish purchases left me a bit disappointed. The seasoning was very bland and I had to smother it with sauce to give it some kick. It wasn't always like this. Hopefully the chef can add some more seasoning back to the batter...then I can give it more stars.

The worst sandwich I've been given in years. A few shriveled and tasteless oysters lost on a 2-day stale bun. And charged 13 dollars for it!! It's

YUM! These guys cook like my beloved Cajun grandmother (now deceased) who was the best cook (and seamstress) who ever lived. I was not expecting that from a DC food truck. OUTSTANDING! Thanks so much.

YES! I went to the truck not expecting much - BUT- I was pleasantly surprised! The shrimp was perfectly seasoned and crispy, the remoulade sauce was sweet and tangy and the bread was crusty on the outside/soft on inside. Even the fries were tasty. Can't wait to next week!

3.7 5.0 17 17 It has been ages since I had fried catfish, so was happy to give this truck a try. The catfish was good. Hot, crispy and tasty, and plenty of it. Would have loved to have a side of Cajunators Food Truck

Cajunators is a cajun and creole cuisine food truck.  The cuisine was first introduced at the 2nd Truckeroo DC food truck festival on July 15, 2011. The truck officially launched on the streets of the District on about September 20, 2011 (at Union Station).  The truck actually used to be the first Dangerously Delicious Pies truck before it was transformed into the Cajunators (Cajunators is not affiliated with Dangerously Delicious Pies).
