It’s getting colder and more holidays are approaching! With all of the holiday meals and the subset of the population that travels home to a different city, the DC food truck fan base may not be as strong as usual.

I’ve noticed that a few trucks have been following very light schedules lately, like Fry Captain, even though I crave a milkshake during the coldest days of Washington DC’s winters.

But, some trucks just take the winter season off completely. Rebel Heroes, which serves Arlington, VA, tweeted on October 7, 2010 that that was its last day of the season. I emailed them to get an idea of when they’d be back on the streets and I got the answer, “We’ll let you know as soon as we finalize plans. Please stay tuned.”
