District of Pi is a pizza restaurant located at 910 F St NW in Penn Quarter, Washington, DC. It announced in late January 2011 that it will be rolling a food truck, called Pi On Wheels, in February 2011.  On February 10, 2011, with only a 2 hour notice via twitter, the new food truck was parked outside of the future restaurant location and served 36 free pizzas to fans.  The pizzas were all given out in less than 20 minutes.

Pi On Wheels serves pizza that is meant to be shared between two people.  No doubt, Pi on Wheels has innovated in mobile cooking by providing delicious deep dish pizza to customers with just a short wait.
