I got three tofu tacos with different toppings on each (none indicated toppings were dairy based). The tofu was mushy and not tasteful. The kimchi was not spicy and had no taste. Two of my tacos came with some sort of crema atop the tofu (which I did not order and cannot eat). Needless to day I threw them out uneaten. I never waste food and this made me very upset. I would not go there again and would not recommend it to anyone.
They use fresh ingredients. The flavors are complex and delicious. Try the specials - especially the pork and tofu.

I can't believe it took me this long to find this amazing truck! The blend of flavors is DELICIOUS and to die for. I will definitely be going back.<

Normally I would give this truck 6 out of 5 stars. It usually has tacos that explode with flavor and freshness. I look forward to my weekly order here
Normally I would give this truck 6 out of 5 stars. It usually has tacos that explode with flavor and freshness. I look forward to my weekly order here. Today I was disappointed for the first time ever by them-the tortillas didn't taste as fresh as normal. The biggest disappointment is that they changed their recommendations, I had one of each like I normally do and the new line-up fell short. If I had never had the previous recommendation line-up I would have thought it was ok. Just average. You have always been so much better than this and I hope you change back-or at least offer the original line-up and an experimental one.
Upscale tacos with great fusion flavors! I went with their recommended combinations.

I'm sad I just discovered this food truck in November 2012. I've been trying different trucks and wasting my money. Far East Taco Grille is the best! I keep looking for them to get my tacos. I have tried other taco trucks when they are not around, it's not the same. Please be at Farragut often. I've even walked to Franklin Park for them.
I just got the recommended beef, chicken and pork tacos. The tacos looked good, but I didn't care for the meat filling in any of them. They were mealy
I just got the recommended beef, chicken and pork tacos. The tacos looked good, but I didn't care for the meat filling in any of them. They were mealy and just didn't taste very good. The toppings were just okay-tasting. There are much better Asian style taco trucks out there.

Wow! This is the first time I've seen the Far East Taco truck on the GWU campus, and I was blown away by the amazing combination of flavors. The meat is wonderfully seasoned and the toppings and sauces offer a great taste and textural contrast. Definitely the best food truck I've experienced in DC so far!! Plus, the woman serving up the tacos in Truck #2 is so smiley and friendly! Great food and great service!

These are EASILY the best taco's in the city. The seasoning of the meats with the mixer of the different toppings and sauces (Especially Kimchi-Lime, Spicy Mayo, and Cheesy Lime Crema mix) are phenomenal. These are definitely a MUST HAVE.
