Metro Center on 12/5. Meatball sub. The expected star of this show--the meatballs--actually had good flavor. But that is where the good ended. First, it was quite small. I don't need a huge sandwich, but we are talking 4 cocktail-sized meatballs. It should be six. The bread would have been good as a side with pasta. But it was too doughy and shallow for a sandwich. It was more like an open-faced meatball sandwich. Service was quick.

first of all, when i opened the container of soup(italian wedding soup, i found 4 baby spinach leaves floating on the top. next, i found 3 mini-mini-mini meatballs(you call that meatballs?), 1 baby slice of a carrot and the rest, broth. The LARGE salad container, thankfully had some croutons and they had NERVE to add a few pieces of lettuce to compliment the croutons. Now, let's talk about the TASTE. HATED IT!!! AND I AM STILL HUNGRY AS HELL AND MAD AS HELL!!!! NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE WILL I GO TO THIS TRUCK!!!!!!

The meatballs were seasoned really well, along with the pepperoni was a tasty combination! I asked for extra marinara sauce, considering that I’m a “saucy” type of girl. When I opened the container, the sub was much smaller than I had anticipated and there was hardly any sauce, which made the sandwich very dry. I would have been happier if the sub was larger and had more sauce… Other than that, I would probably order from here again.

I have had the Chicken Caesar Salad before and was very impressed with the homemade parmesan dressing and croutons. I knew I'd go back again and so I did. This time, I traveled a great distance thinking I'd get there early. I got to the truck and ordered 2 CCS only to be told they were out of chicken. I didn't want to leave empty-handed, so, I just got the plain Caesar and left disappointed. Today, I saw they were at L'Enfant Plaza, so I got on the train at McPherson and headed there, only to see they were again... out of chicken! REALLY! I give up. This truck has been somewhat of a disappointment and I hope in the future, they get their act together..until then, I'll get my Chicken Caesar Salad elsewhere.

There is nothing really special about the Spaghetti and Meatballs. I got maybe 4 small meatballs with this dish. The meatballs were tasty, but unremarkable really.

I don't think it is worth the money you pay for this.

I love Italian, I was very excited about this new food truck. I especially had my appetite set on trying the Lobster Ravioli and the Crab Stuffed Shrimp Scampi. I walked five sweaty blocks to get to this truck on 18th&I only to be told, the Lobster Ravioli and Shrimp Scampi are served only as 'specials' and are not served daily... how disappointing. What was listed were spaghetti & meatballs, fettucini, etc. I can get that anywhere around this area. You need to edit your online menu to reflect what's really available. If and when the Ravioli and Scampi are listed and served, I have lost my appetite for this truck. I look forward to checking out the other "coming soon" italian truck (Tempo di Pasta).**I had to give this a rating to submit the review.

Response: Kyle\'s note: I changed the star rating to 3 (neutral rating) because the reviewer didn\'t actually try any of the food.
