Ok, this ice cream truck has potential because the guy in the truck is so sweet and polite but the ice cream itself, not what I expected. It was not creamy at all...you know that melt in your mouth - so bad for you but its worth the calories because its so good? I got the Mocha Fudge Brownie and could barely taste the chocolate, only got a hint of coffee, and the brownie was totally store bought somewhere like entemenns or something. It was NOT home-made and I only got ONE piece in like 10 bites. I was expecting a brownie square with the ice cream on top, creamy and an excellent balance of chocolate to coffee flavors. :( I think if they listen to what people expect, they might be able to better their recipe.
The Orange Cow food truck soft launched on July 7, 2011 in Washington, DC.
The Orange Cow serves super premium homemade ice cream, hand-dipped from the truck. They serve 2 oz and 5 oz servings (double, triples, quads) as well as sundaes and pints to go. Smoothies will be added in the near future. They offer incredibly low prices for the quality and serving size (all natural ingredients). During the Fall, they will offer warm toppings for the ice cream so we are not a “summer only” truck.
They are available for office, birthday and other private parties.
