Fries are okay, I\'ll give them that. But the sandwich itself was lacking. First thing you will notice is that there is a lot of bread (which was okay), but where is the meat and veggies? A cheesesteak is supposed to have bread merely as a vehicle for the true substance - meat and veggies. And then the chicken is dry, really really dry.
Secondly, there are six reviews, all favorable on a single day. BS.
Response: Kyle\'s note: just fyi, those reviews from the same day are actually legit (and written by different people). It\'s basically the operator asking their regulars to get back to the office and write a review for them. Yelp generally \'filters\' those reviews out, but I show them. I\'m not sure which way is better, honestly.

In my opinion I think the Philly Phamous Cheesesteak truck is one of the best truck if not the best that comes to the Navy Yard area. If you like meat sandwhiches, they don't hold back you get plenty of it. The truck only comes on Wednesday to the Navy Yard are and believe me I look forward for them to be here, I get very disappointed when they are not on site. One thing I would like to see added to their condiment list is BBQ sauce. The right BBQ sauce would make their great sandwiches even greater! GOOD JOB GUYS!

I cannot eat a cheesesteak anywhere else because I know I will be disappointed knowing it will not live up to the oh soo good cheesesteaks Phillies Phamous serves. Everytime they are in my area (I wish it was more often), I am such a happy person!! One of the best food trucks in DC!!!
