The taste of the food was ok. Nothing that made me want to chase them around DC, but simply OK.
With that being said I ordered the shrimp PO\'Boy and shrimp and grits. The S&G was ok, I recommend removing the veins and tails of the shrimp before adding them to the grits.
Now this is the reason why MY FIRST TIME EATING THERE WILL BE MY LAST TIME---- the bread of my shrimp PO’boy was MOLDED. I paid $8 for molded bread…. Can you say [upset -Kyle\'s edit] and the only reason I did not take it back to get my money back was because I had a two hour meeting at work. I am the type of person that looks at the expiration date on everything! If it expires on the 28th I no longer eat it after the 25th … so imagine how sickened I felt knowing I bit into and swallowed a molded sandwich!

I ordered the shrimp & grits and was so pleasantly surprised. There were 3 huge shrimp in a flavorful tomato sauce, served over parmesan grits. The medium was the perfect size for me for lunch, I would definitely order the same thing again.

Puddin’ food truck serves #DivineComfortFood on the streets of Washington DC!  They also have been serving from a food stand at Eastern Market on the weekends.  The menu consists of a selection of po’ boys, shrimp & gritz and gumbo as well as, of course, bread puddin’!
