The lamb stew from Simple on Wheels is the most delicious thing I've had from a food truck, and may well be among the most delicious dishes I've ever eaten (which is saying something). I see they're out there near my office today, and I know what I'm having for lunch.

The food was very tasty and I will more than likely be back but like another reviewer wrote -the food was lukewarm. The woman taking orders also seemed distracted. I'm not opposed to giving them one more chance because of the taste and amount of money served for the money.

It's weeks later and I'm looking for Simple to be @ either Frankin Sq. or Metro Center! It was the best Ethiopian food from a truck I have ever tasted. The veggies were cooked but still had crunch, the Lamb was tender and juicy-- everything was seasoned perfectly! I really enjoyed this meal, I will go to this truck again and again 🙂 Hurry back to one of those locations and come at least once a week!!! Yummy!!!!

I have to give credit where credit is due and this Food Truck gets my 100% approval! I always look forward to Tuesday afternoon to hit the block for my Awaze Tibs fix. Today, I was a bit disappointed because they didn't have Tibs, instead they humbly offered me Yebeg Wot. When it comes to Ethiopian food, I am usually skeptical about trying something that is not made to order, however this food truck's Wot was amazingly delicious and fresh! Thank you for this great food and courteous service! See you next week 🙂

A huge platter that can easily feed two. Delicious and satisfying sampler with 5 different vegetarian options. Extra injeera is lovingly folded on top, also keeping the food warm. You feel like your mom made this especially for you. The two women were delightful.

For only $9, the veggie platter is a great deal -- a ton of delicious food on injera. It's not the best Ethiopian I've had in DC, but still very tasty. I'd have given 5 stars, but the food was only luke-warm. I'll have to try earlier in the afternoon, to see if it's warmer.

I'm reluctant to write this review because I'd love for this truck to continue flying under the radar, but I feel that I owe it to the wonderful woman who runs this truck to spread the word.

I have been to 4 Ethiopian food trucks and this is my favorite. It's also one of my favorite food trucks in general (I estimate I've tried ~20).

As others have said, the veggie platter is a great deal. The menu has recently changed a little bit. They got rid of the split yellow lentils (I was told they were not popular enough) but it seems like they now give more of the other two. I love the cabbage and don't care for the chard (bitter for my tastes, could use citrus), so the woman lets me substitute the chard for extra cabbage.

I almost always tip them because the veggie platter is honestly worth $10 to me, and I'd like to see them be successful.

I tried the Tibs once, which took longer because I think she cooks them up fresh to order, unlike some of the other trucks. I enjoyed them but will stick with the veggie platter because it's unbeatable.
