I tried Tasty Kabob in a pinch today--the truck I wanted to order from had already closed. I was not disappointed. I got a serious serving of food, with lots of lamb and more chickpeas than I could ever have expected. I got mine spicy, and while it wasn't particularly hot, it added some good flavor. The next time I'm in the mood for kabob, I won't hesitate to go back.

First timer!! 1st greeted with a great attitude and smile. I was able to taste the lamb before ordering. It was so tasty and spicy. Other co-workers were with me and they ordered chicken, meatballs...some over salad, some over rice! ALL were talking about the Tasty Kabob truck. 1900 Gallows Road loves TK and look forward to seeing you weekly!!

One of the stars of the DC lunch truck world! I have ordered from them twice, each time chicken on salad, with two sides, and pita bread. Just delicious. They actually marinate their chicken and it's wonderfully flavorful. Their yogurt dill sauce and hot sauces added to it are wonderful. Delicious and well made vegetables (spinach and chick peas) and even the pita bread was excellent, a true test of any eating establishment. You folks deserve honors. Great work!

It was a ton of food, and very well seasoned. I couldn't decide between the lamb and chicken&mushrooms, but the guy in the truck said he would do half and half. I have eaten a lot of kabobs and this truck rivals all of them, even the restaurants. Especially for $10. Will definitely go back.

Our office's favorite truck. The lamb gyro is amazing. The bread and soft/fresh, and they pack as much meat as they can in the pita while making sure it's MTO. I recommend all the toppings listed and have them make it extra spicy. We look forward to seeing the Tasty Kabob truck every Thursday in Tysons. Well worth the 10-20 minute wait in line because the word is out that the food is that delish!

I have bought food plenty of times from this food truck and they've always given me great quality food and service. I have always been a fan of gyro but today I tried their chicken & mushrooms on top of a salad and it is by far my new favorite dish! It was really filling and tasty. I would recommend everyone to try it!

Wow that was a fulfilling and delicious sandwich I had kudos to tasty kabob!

Tasty Kabob wasn't bad, but it isn't among the best kabob trucks. The chicken was fatty and the flavors were a bit off. More smokey than I would expect. Plus at $10 with one side and no bread, it's more expensive than a truck like Mayur.

To be fair to their competition, there are several excellent trucks serving this style of cuisine (I also really enjoy Halal Grill), but this was exceptional. Service was fast, polite, and detail oriented—I will ALWAYS appreciate someone checking if I want lettuce/tomatoes/onions/sauce, because I often don't—and the flavors were marvelously balanced. If you enjoy this style of cuisine at all this is a truck to try, and if you haven't tried this style this is a great truck to take a stab at it.

The food is AMAZING. This was my first experience and I will definitely be back soon. I got the Chicken and Mushroom (Spicy style), served over rice, with salad and spinach on the side. The portions are big, the food is delicious.. I am full but keep eating it because it just tastes so good! The amount of spice is perfect and the flavors are very mature.. definitely tastes like something from a high-end restaurant, NOT a truck. Tasty Kabob does not disappoint - I HIGHLY recommend it.
