My first time trying the Ficelle and it definitely won't be the last. I had an amazingly delicious Davis; calling it a chicken salad sandwich would be a misnomer. Terrific and obviously quality bread and fillings made for an incredible sandwich. While I was eating it, I kept thinking that they need a stand-alone shop. Or at least they need to drive around in my neighborhood, or just park in front of my building.

Tried RF for the 1st time yesterday...It was delicious!!! I would stand it up against any Italian cold-cut in the city! I'll see you next Tuesday.<

A good sandwich but I won't eat there again until they need to rethink the ticket process. Having the guy who handles the money give you a laminated number which the sandwich-maker then takes from you sort of defeats the hygiene purpose of separating money and customer from food prep. Ick.

What Did You Order?: Calder/Pollack

Easily my favorite sandwich food truck in DC. The bread really makes the sandwich, and I tend to alternate between the Calder and Pollack. Everything tastes fresh, and quite a few steps up from local sandwich shops. Always on the lookout for this truck and hope they visit L St. more often!
