The Kimchi sub is the best food truck meal I've ever had. I've turned several co-workers on to Wassub and they've all loved it.

One of the best trucks in DC BY FAR. I have been eating less and less from food trucks and bringing my own lunch, but I eat at WASSUB every time i see it outside work. Craveable is the word i would use. I only get the Kimchi sub because it's so good i don't want to try anything else, although I'm sure all is delicious.

Is This One Of Your Favorite Trucks?: YES!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is THE BEST FOOD TRUCK IN DC!! BY FAR!! I am obsessed with the kimchi bulgogi sub (or whatever it's called). It's so delicious and flavorful. It's a ton of food so a great value (especially compared to some other trucks which are way overpriced for what they give you). I always check this site to see when Wassub comes to Farragut because I ALWAYS want it. 5 stars!!!!! Plus the girl who works there is so cute and fun.

Veggie sub on the whiteboard rotation. Soft roll was able to hold all the veggies w/out them falling out everywhere and absorb the terikayi sauce no problem. Caramelized onion, melted provolone, jalapeno, sauteed mushroom and pineapple, lettuce/tomato. Everything you could ever want in a veggie sandwich.

Consider me blown away - not an easy sandwich to pull off logistically or interestingly.

What Did You Order?: Philly Sub •
Is This One Of Your Favorite Trucks?: Yes

I've been going to Wassub for the last several months and I like flavor of the subs. I've had the Beef Teriyaki, Bulgogi, and the Philly. I've had two recurring problems that keep me from giving Wassub a higher rating. One, the sub roll gets very soggy, especially on the Teriyaki. My local sub shop and other steak and cheese sub trucks don't have this problem, so it seems like this should be an easy fix. Two, this is the third time that I have ordered a Philly without onions and green peppers, only to have it come with green peppers. Last time, the guy at the window told me that the computer does not have a "no green pepper" button. Today, I specifically mentioned it to the guy at the window when I ordered. The receipt had "no onion" on it and he handwrote "no green pepper" on his copy of it. When I got back to my office, I find that my Philly has BOTH onion and green pepper on it. I'd give Wassub 5 Stars if they could fix these two issues. If they cannot, then I'm going to have to go elsewhere because I'm getting tired of digging onions and green peppers out of my sub.

What Did You Order?: Bulgogi Kimchi sub

This place always has a good crowd. The vendors are very nice and personable. I tried the bulgogi sub with kimchi. It came with a fried egg on it which was fine, though unexpected since I did not see that listed for this menu item. The meat was too salty for my taste, and there wasn't much kimchi on there - I only tasted a little kimchi in one bite. The bread was decent but the bottom was quite soggy from the contents.

What Did You Order?: Regular Bulgogi Sub

This would be the truck I took a friend too who was nervous about the foodtruck concept. The sub was amazing. Great meat and fresh toppings, I truly enjoyed my lunch. My only issue was that it take some time but that would not prevent my return.

What Did You Order?: Chicken teriaki

Teriyaki was tasty, plenty of meat, lettuce and tomato on the bun. Very filling. I ran into CVS while waiting for my sub and then they decided my sub was too cold, so they made me a new one - I appreciated that! The sexy sauce didn't have a lot going for it, but wasn't needed either.

4.2 5.0 30 30 I got the Bulgogi and Kimchi sub and it was so good! It had a nice kick. The meat was very tender and the sub roll was fresh and soft. I was skeptical about the cheese being on the Wassub Food Truck

Wassub food truck was started by three friends who were looking to introduce asian fusion subs to the DC metropolitan area.
