This is a great Bulgogi Bahn mi. The combination of the marinated beef with the kimchi and slaw with the wasabo mayo, makes this a winning combination.

However, the bread on the sandwich was very tough, almost stale. If there was a softer, fresher roll, this would have been a top contender.

The soup was incredibly tasty, but it really was skimpy on everything except broth and noodles. I agree with others that the beef was a tad chewy, but that happens in soups and it was otherwise tasty, but there just wasn't enough of it. Or of the basil. I had four tiny little basil leaves. So sad. That said, it was really tasty and hit the spot when I needed some soup. I just think $9 for what is 85% broth and noodles is a bit steep. If this had been $5, I'd be raving.

Anyway, on an earlier occasion I'd tried their shrimp and summer spring rolls. Both were fresh and very good. The veggies ones, however, do not have anything the shrimp ones don't, so I don't think they should cost the same.

I'd go back for the pho if I was craving soup again. I'll go back for the shrimp spring rolls any time.

This pho was pretty good. I needed pho in the worst way, as I am getting over a cold. I asked for extra jalapenos and got them, I also asked for extra lime... but since the price of lime went up I guess they were not feeling generous. However the pho itself was great. I would like to have seen more chicken. a little less noodle. But the flavors were there, it was nice and hot. Chicken pieces were perfect, no fat, nicely sliced pieces. I will come back to try other things :)

Very fast service, and very tasty soup. Each of the local Pho trucks is a bit different...for me a toss up between this truck and Pho Junkies with Phonation 3rd (though all good).

Two pluses for this truck is the packet of bean sprouts, lime, peppers they give you (Pho Junkies does not include bean sprouts) and the Sarachi bottles for us (where Pho Junkies has the sauce in pre-done containers).

Well seasons, lots of beef, noodles...any Pho day is a good day.

I was skeptical to try the pho from WTP after reading several reviews. However, I was craving pho and decided to give it a try. Final verdict was that it was quite good and deserves better reviews. My one complaint matches many of those I read- very, very skimpy meat portion. Fortunately, they give you a lot of noodles to keep you from feeling hungry, but I would much prefer more meat. The broth was good and the noodles were much better than Phonation's. I've now tried 3 pho trucks in DC in the last two months. This one ranks 2nd after Pho Junkies (my favorite) and before Phonation.

for almost ten bucks there should be more than 3-4 small pieces of beef. It was overcooked and chewy. Could not taste any of the main flavor characteristics in pho broth either (star anise, bone marrow, ginger, fish sauce...etc). Maybe I should have stuck with the bahn mi instead. Probably won't be back though.

great flavors! excellent quality and quantity! went back to get another one for my wife for dinner- she loved it too!

I ordered the Bahn Mi Chicken Bowl, and while it was tasty had a few drawbacks. The bowl had lots of rice and chicken, but was VERY light on the slaw and basil. It was disappointing. Also, the bowl was very dry, no "sauce". The menu mentioned the bowl comes with a side of lettuce. I had to specifically ask for it though. It was a HUGE portion of lettuce. Way more than I could use for the bowl. Overall, it was tasty because I love the flavors of bahn mi, but I doubt I'll revisit this truck if Lemongrass Truck is around.
