I ordered three tacos; one of each meat with hard shells. My expectations were that I would be getting something similar to a Mexican street taco. When in fact these were more in line with basic home made tacos from a store bought kit.
For ingredients, the shells tasted like store bought and the jalapenos were from a jar. How expensive is it to cut fresh jalapenos for mexican food? They were gross. The beef and beans lacked seasoning The chicken was OK, nothing special.
For consistency, they added toppings that I didn't ask for; then after the fact, asked me if it was OK to leave them on. I guess they didn't want to remake it even though it was their screw up.
For taste, overall it was pretty bland and uneventful on par with Taco Bell or less. I would not recommend.

I literally just ordered the tacos and made it back to my office (in Bethesda) to sit down and eat (I'm the lady that just asked you what you're famous for). All I can say is DELISH! The portion size is perfect and the taste is definitely on point. The chicken is very well seasoned (coming from a lady that loves spices and seasonings) and the sauces are yummy. I'm a food truck fanatic, but I'm definitely a newly inducted fan of LA Taco Truck. Can't wait to see you guys again!!!

truck guy talks way too much which holds the costumers up and starts a unnessesary line.... then runs out of cheese... one of the main ingredients in mex food... and then you taste the food and it sucks... so not worth even trying.
They ran out of food while I was standing in line! đ But gave me free queso and chips. I'll be back!! Great flavor, good w/ a spicy kick!

LA Taco Truck is launching soon in Montgomery County, MD!
Owner’s statement: As the previous owners and chefs of Tucson Cantina, we served southwestern american style food in the Washington, DC area for over 25 years. Since our closing in 2000, we have been contacted many times by Tucson Cantina patrons looking for our homemade hot sauces, chili con queso, tacos, burritos and more. We love the southwestern american taco and burrito style and decided it was time to reintroduce this area to our cooking with LA TACO. Check out our Find Us page to see where our food truck is headed next!
