Not very good. I don't like corn tortillas. Lots of meat though.

I tried this truck 2 times and will say that both times the tacos were WAY too salty as previous reviews have stated. I had to post this review because I do like the flavor of cilantro and other spices that these tacos offer but I will never again wait in the ridiculously long line for a sodium overdose. Please change your recipe. Pho Wheels tacos has won me over.

The worst food I've had from any of the trucks purporting to have Korean BBQ. The meat is marinated in -- vinegar? Ugh. This is NOT bulgogi! Flimsy disgusting taco shells -- taste like the no-frills cardboard tray they're served in. Bag? Sorry. Extra sauce? Yes, with a scowl. You may notice no line at the truck... Now I know why. Don't waste your money.

It was...ok. Taste wise it was 3 stars, but the portion size is VERY small and that cost them a star. Just not a good value cost wise.

I had two chicken and one beef each with kimche. The tacos were quite tasty and the beef and chicken were good quality. No chunks of fat. No gristle streaks that pull out all of the meat with your first bite. If you are looking for something different, interesting, and filling, this is your truck.

I was excited to try a truck that had real vegan options, so I got three tofu tacos with napa-romaine slaw. They were... okay. Just barely okay though. The tofu was pretty bland, and the slaw was nothing to write home about, and there was a weird bitter aftertaste on each bite, though I couldn't really tell where it was coming from. Plus the tortillas were dry (I went for the corn ones; maybe the flour ones are better). Meh. They just didn't have a wow factor and I will seek my vegan food truck fix elsewhere.

First and foremost, I was basically visually assualted by the colors of this truck invading my eyesight and overloading my senses with overall loudness. That being said, I decided to supply my hunger pangs with copious amounts of Takorean. The tantalizing chicken tantalized nothing but the pockets of the owners who charge $9 for subpar, sub seasoned, pigeon portioned chicken slices. Sometimes when I am observing a vegan diet I get the chicken taco because, lets be real. Theres so little chicken in there its a vegan dish just waiting to be enjoyed.

Basically a taco bell on wheels, minus the doritos locos, generous serving sizes, and spicy flavors. Asked if my order had MSG and the owner smirked and said no, almost as if to say "You have NO IDEA"

Tried this truck for the first time and was not impressed; maybe it was due to being near the end of service but the tortillas were dried out around the edges and the meat was dry as well; it was supposed to have kimchi slaw on it but there was so little of it I couldn't taste it. Might try again when the truck first opens to see if it improves the experience since so many folks seem to like this truck.

Takorean fuses Korean BBQ with tacos and offers vegan and vegetarian options. Tacos are ordered in increments of 1 or 3 with a choice of chicken, beef or tofu and choice of slaw topping, Napa-Romaine or Spicy Kimchi. A pro-tip while ordering at Takorean is that a 3 taco meal can be ordered as 1-chicken, 1-beef and 1-tofu. Toppings are easily ordered as the works, where all toppings are included.

On 10-6-2012, TaKorean opened a brick and mortar location at Union Market.
