How Much Did It Cost?: 10 bucks

I've begun venturing outside my job to try out the various food trucks that come by and this one, by far, is my favorite. I will even come out in the rain for one of his sandwhiches!

I loved my sandwhich, it was HUGE and it had an inch to an inch and a half of smoked pulled chiken. It was super tender (not dry at all) and absolutely delicious! Its even better with his homemade bbq sauce, and I'm pretty picky about my bbq sauce. Not only do you get the sandwhich but you get a side of coleslaw AND you pick another of the daily sides.

Its great and filling. There has been times I was not able to finish because theres so much, and thats saying a lot since I'm a chunkster. :)

You cant afford to NOT try it.

What Did You Order?: Curley's plate

I have heard my coworkers rave about Curley's Q, so I had to give them a try. I got the curley's plate which has everything on the menu. The chicken was moist and full of flavor, the pork was moist tender and a hint of carolina sauce. The best I have ever had outside of Carolina. And the famous BRISKET, ....AMAZING!!! full of flavor and just the rite amount of fat. The ribs were FALL OFF THE BONE amazing! By the way, nothing had any sauce!, This was all just Curley's rub and smoke! Then you add the sauces "Curley's Special" which is a sweet and tangy with a hint of mustard . I found this amazing on everything. Then there is the "Love Potion #9" To call this carolina sauce would not do it justice. This is a vinegar sauce with a hint of heat, hint of sweet and island style twang to it. It was so amazing on the pork!! Lastly the baked beans were off the chart, made with what looks like regular Boston beans, red kidney beans and corn, yes corn! Sweet with brown sugar and tangy......WOW. His list of specialty sandwiches we very impressive a "Preuben" he has a pork reuben, which I heard was amazing. Cant wait to try in next week! If I can finish the huge Curley's plate by then!

I've tried their chicken solo as well as the brisket and I have to say, it's so good and the sauce, is wonderful. Look forward to seeing the truck out

The owner’s introduces himself:

I am David “Curley” Cornblatt, I have had a passion for cooking since I was 14 and huge passion for real BBQ. BBQ is low and slow cooking (under 300 degrees and for 12 to 15 hours). For years my family and friends have told me to open a restaurant and for years I said “I don’t want to be a slave to food.” I come in to the food truck business out of a passion for cooking and giving people an experience with food that they have never had before. Seeing people’s faces when they taste my Q is simply priceless! And yes, I love giving free samples of of my Q! (Cuz I know you will be back!) Because my Q is cooked low and slow, you will notice that the meats are not greasy but juicy as we pull all the meat my hand and remove any excess fat, so you get the flavor not greasiness.

Come by and get a sample….. Let’s MEAT!
